GET READY FOR A GREAT DAY…
All of our fly fishing guide trips are all-inclusive — meaning there are no hidden fees. Our guide trips include equipment rental (if necessary), rods, flies, leaders, etc. as well as transportation to and from the river. Lunch and non-alcoholic beverages will be provided for full day trips. If you have any dietary concerns please let us know at the time of booking. The only things not included in the cost of the trip will be your Montana fishing license and gratuity for your guide.
MEET YOUR GUIDES

SLADE FEDORE grew up in Central Wyoming where at an early age he developed a passion for the outdoors, Fly Fishing taking the priority. When he moved to Montana in 2005, it was pretty obvious what was going to happen next. With over a decade of Guiding/Outfitting the waters in Southwest Montana, Slade truly has a passion for the sport and is eager to share that with seasoned anglers and those brand new to the sport. Slade, his wife and two children live in Bozeman, Montana where they enjoy all that the big sky state has to offer like hunting, fishing, skiing etc.

SPENCER THIESEN has been fishing the waters of Southwest Montana since he was a child. Spencer played four years of baseball at Stetson University where he graduated with a degree in business. Just like on the baseball field, Spence is focused and ready for anything the river can throw at him. Since moving here from sunny Florida to pursue his passion for fly fishing, Spencer has gained a reputation for being fishy, fun, and entertaining.

STEPHEN SMITH was born and raised in rural Vermont, where he spent his childhood outdoors, skiing, fishing and hunting. In 2009 Steve headed to Bozeman to attend college at Montana State University, where he received a degree in History. During his time there he found his passion for the incredible rivers and fly fishing that Montana has to offer. Stephen has settled in Bozeman with his wonderful wife Kaysie and their two German shorthaired pointers. Whether you are a novice angler or a seasoned vet, his laid back, yet professional demeanor will ensure that you get the most out of your day on the water. Being a certified coast guard captain, Stephen is able to offer motorized jet boat trips through the legendary Land of Giants on the Missouri river.

COLIN NOBIL was born and raised under the big sky right here in Montana, Colin has been fishing the rivers for 2 decades. After graduating from the University of Montana with a finance degree, his love for people and the outdoors led him into guiding. In the off-season, you can spot him skiing on the slopes or hunting in the mountains with his friends.
Jason Roed grew up in Washington, just north of Seattle, fishing local rivers for salmon and steelhead. After graduating in 2008 from Washington State University with a degree in Mathematics and Education, he promptly moved to Bozeman where he has been fishing and enjoying the outdoors since. Jason is a high school math teacher during the school year and considers the river his second classroom. When Jason isn’t on the river, you can catch him golfing or spending time with his wife Jill and daughter Gwen.
